Bring Azure DevOps with you, and Gitea joins GitHub

ADDED Import a project from Azure DevOps, in Settings under Import. Epics, features, stories and tasks keep their parent links, work item types become issue types, and each state lands in the right column, custom ones included. Run it again and only new work comes over, so you can do a trial run before the cutover. Azure DevOps Services only.
ADDED A Gitea connector, in Settings under Connectors. Turn repositories on and pull requests link to the issues they name; a merge completes them, as with GitHub. Connect with an access token, or add the webhook yourself when your Gitea is on a private network. On paid plans, like the GitHub connector.
ADDED Optionally move a card to Review when its pull request opens. A draft waits until it is marked ready, and a card someone moved back by hand stays put. Off by default, in Settings under Workspace. Works with GitHub and Gitea.
ADDED A card that is blocked by another card says so on the board. It takes the red border and a chip naming the blocker, and the chip opens it. Finish the blocker and the cards it held up clear on their own. Marking a card blocked now asks which issue is in the way, so the link gets recorded.
ADDED An @mention can wake an agent. A loop with the new trigger starts when someone mentions the agent that owns it, on that issue, with the comment in hand. Whoever wrote the mention hears back once: when the run finishes or halts, or if nothing picked it up.
IMPROVED Sub-issues are shown by default on the board and in the list, table and roadmap views. They were behind a toggle, so a fresh link or a saved view opened with them folded away.
IMPROVED A doc no longer loses an edit to a stale save. If the doc changed since your tab loaded it, autosave pauses and a banner offers to load the latest version or to overwrite on purpose. Agents get the same guard through xpntl_doc_update.
FIXED Boards and lists with more than 500 issues show all of them. They stopped at the first 500, with a total that disagreed.
SEP 16 2026-08-27 → 2026-09-16

A table for your issues, and sign-in rules for your org

ADDED Table view on Issues: sort and show the columns you want, drag them to the width you want, and group rows into sections you can collapse. Your layout is saved and follows you between devices.
ADDED Sign-in requirements for an organization or a single workspace: require SSO with a chosen provider, or require multi-factor authentication, and have it enforced at sign-in and when someone switches workspace
ADDED Finished cards can archive themselves, after a delay your workspace chooses. Off by default, and the clock starts when the work was finished, not when someone last touched the card.
ADDED Archive All on the board's Done column, for clearing a column in one go
ADDED A searchable icon picker for projects
ADDED Agents can set due dates and start dates through the MCP tools, and filter for work due before a date, which until now only the API could do
IMPROVED Workspace avatars load quickly again: images come straight from storage instead of through the API, which was taking about four seconds
IMPROVED Moving a card to Done clears its blocked flag, so nothing finished still reads as blocked
IMPROVED The issue count above a list now matches the rows you can see
FIXED Unassigning someone from an issue now actually unassigns them. It reported success and left them on the card.
FIXED Exporting a workspace, and downloading it as a zip, both work again
FIXED Bullet and numbered lists render as lists again in descriptions and comments
FIXED Microsoft Teams channels created through Power Automate connect again, instead of being rejected as an unrecognized address
FIXED Editing an issue no longer overwrites a change you made a moment earlier, and stops repeating the same confirmation
