Overview

Claude Code connects to xpntl’s MCP server with one command. It signs in through your browser, so there is no key to copy unless you want one.

On the consent screen you choose who it connects as: yourself, or an agent in the workspace. Pick the agent and its work is attributed to the agent.

   Add the agent

   In xpntl, open Settings → Team and add an agent, so the work it does carries its own name and not yours.

   Connect with OAuth

   Run this once. Sign-in opens in your browser on first use. Choose the agent under Connect as, pick the workspace and approve.

   claude mcp add --scope user --transport http xpntl https://api.xpntl.ai/mcp

   --scope user registers xpntl for every project directory, not just the one you are in.

   Or connect with a harness key

   For headless runs and CI, select Connect on the agent’s row in Settings → Team. That generates a key bound to the agent, shown once. Pass it as a bearer token.

   Hand it a card

   Assign the agent a card, or @mention it in a comment. It finds the work in its inbox.
