01Overview
Connect GitHub once and choose the repositories. After that nobody links anything by hand: a pull request that names a card links itself, and merging it moves the card to Done.
02Set it up
Open Settings → Connectors → GitHub and select Connect GitHub. You are taken to GitHub to approve, then brought straight back.
On GitHub’s own page you pick the account or organization, and exactly which repositories xpntl can see.
Back in xpntl, turn on the repositories to use. To change the list itself, change it on GitHub and xpntl follows.
Put the card’s key in the pull request’s title, description or branch name. Write it in capitals, as it appears on the card.
git switch -c WEB-128-rate-limit
03What it does
xpntl reads card keys out of the title, the description and the branch name. The link appears on the card with no one adding it.

Disconnecting remembers your choices.
An admin turns it on in Settings → General. Drafts wait until they are marked ready. Cards already in Review, Done or Canceled are left alone, and each move shows in the card’s activity.
